  • Shri Bijelson Nongrum partner of Flipkart RJSCS, Pynthorbah, Block-1, Shillong lodged a complaint that on Jan 11, two of his staffs viz., (1) John Bradley Nongbet and (2) Jonathan K Nongrum, exchanged goods belonging to the customers with fake / fraud ones, etc. However, the incident was captured in the CCTV.
  • A resident of Forest Colony, Polo Hills, Shillong lodged a complaint that on Jan 7, unknown miscreant(s) stole his mobile phone and on Jan 9, he found that two unauthorized transactions amounting to Rs. 12,998/- took place from his Bank account through GPay.
  • Shri Hamarsing Marwein lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of Jan 17 & 18, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter (ML-05AC-3479) which was parked on the roadside near his residence at Kench’s, Laban, Shillong.
  • Shri Bicky Raj Das lodged a complaint that on Jan 18, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his residence at Dongkadiang, Nongmensong, Shillong and stole gold ornaments, etc., total valued around Rs. 2 lakh.
  • Shri Samuel Sangma and Shri Preitush Purkayastha jointly lodged a complaint that on Jan 18, unknown miscreant(s) broke into their residences at Lower Lumparing, Shillong and stole one gold ring and cash Rs. 30,000/- from the residence of Shri Samuel Sangma and one TV set, one gold earring and cash Rs. 15,000/- from the residence of Shri Preitush Purkayastha.
  • Shri Subrata Paul, Representative NCERT, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India lodged a complaint that one shop at Ïewduh, Shillong styled as ‘Yash Book Centre’ was found selling pirated books.
  • On (Jan 20) morning, rider of one scooter (ML-05AD-1170) one seeing Police personnel conducting checking at Mawryngkneng (EKH), hastily diverted his direction towards Shillong By-pass Road (EKH) and later abandoned the scooter at a place under Mawryngkneng PS (EKH) and fled away. During enquiry, it transpired that the aforementioned scooter was stolen from Shella (EKH).
  • A resident of Mawngap, Lumparing (EKH) lodged a complaint that on Jan 19 at about 7 pm, unknown miscreant(s) damaged the windowpane of his house with a bullet / stone.
  • Shri Pynshailang Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of Jan 19 & 20, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycyle (ML-05AC-3318) from Umpling Bridge, Rynjah, Shillong.
  • On Jan 19 evening, BSF personnel of BOP Lyngkhat (EKH), recovered one motorcycle from Lyngkhat area along the Indo-Bangladesh border and handed over the same to Police at Pynursla PS (EKH).
  • Shri Shiningstar Marngar lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of Jan 19 & 20, unknown miscreant(s) stole four head of cattle belonging to his brother-in-law from Umsaw Mawjynrong village (EKH).
  • A resident of Laitmynsaw, Upper Shillong lodged a complaint that on Jan 19 at about 5.15 pm, unidentified miscreants (4/5) in one vehicle (ML-05P-5260) assaulted him at the village, causing minor injuries to him.
  • On (Jan 20) morning, Shri Khrawbor Kharkongor, Publicity Secretery, Nongmensong Dorbar Authority informed Police over phone at Nongmensong OP, Shillong that unidentfied miscreant(s) damaged the construction sanctioned under Smart City Scheme for beautification of the area at Nongmensong Market, Shillong.
  • A male resident of a locality in Shillong lodged (Jan 17) a complaint that unknown miscreant(s) cheated him of Rs. 75,000/- during the process to buy a scooter advertised on Facebook, reportedly posted by an army personnel.
  • Shri Lamborlang Suting lodged a complaint that on Jan 14 around 8.30 am, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter (ML-05S-1556) from Lad Nongmadan Shatsngi, Pynursla village (EKH).
  • Party commander, F-Coy, 4th Bn., BSF lodged a complaint that on Jan 18 around 8.15 pm, BSF personnel recovered two head of unclaimed cattle from a place near BP No. 1283/4-S (WJH).
  • Police received information that on Jan 19 at about 4 am, one motorcycle (ML-04D-8374) was found missing from Lumpyrtuh, Mihmyntdu, Jowai (WJH).
  • Party Commander, 4th Bn., BSF, BOP Hawaitilla lodged (Jan 20) a complaint that BSF personnel recovered nine head of unclaimed cattle from near BP No. 1287/4-S along the international border.
  • President, Ambari SSA UP School lodged a complaint against Shri Ali Hussain, Head Teacher of Ambarigaon SSA UP School, allegedly for misusing school fund amounting to Rs. 50,000/-. The complainant stated that Shri Ali Hussain agreed to refund the money; however, till date he failed to do so.
  • A resident of Rongram Allagre (WGH) lodged a complaint that on Nov 14, 2024 midnight, two residents of the same village including a woman stole his (1) vehicle, (2) gold ornaments valued around Rs. 20 lakhs, (3) cash Rs. 50 lakhs, (4) valuable documents including Bank passbook, insurance, etc from his residence.
  • Shri Jahangir Hussain lodged a complaint that on Jan 10 around 11.30 am, one radio belonging to Airtel company was found missing from a tower site at Romba A’dinggre (WGH).
  • Shri Senggrang K Marak lodged a complaint that on Jan 10, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter (ML-13A-6062) from Ganol A’pal (WGH).
  • Senior AH Veterinary Officer, Pig Breeding Farm, Gindo, Tura (WGH) lodged a complaint that on Jan 8, the complainant found that about 500 mtrs of pipe was missing from the farm.
  • On Jan 18, acting on a tip-off, Police intercepted one motorcycle (AS-17J-2814) and recovered / seized (1) 992 of Mescaline tablets (101.37 grams), (2) 19.21 of suspected heroin, (3) one mobile phone, etc., from the possession Md Aktar Hussain (32 yrs).
